Broken down in my soul
In dire need of my life's stolen glow
Sad and lonely
Wishing to be his only
But his wanting of the one he can't have
Even though I'm the one he's able to grab
Shove the knife deep within
Don't just penetrate the skin
Make it deep push it hard
Hold it there keep it barred.
I've lost the twinkle in my eye
All due to a simple guy
One day a gentleman I've known.
The next a jerk he's opened and grown.
He swears to care
But in turn treats me unfair
Hold me tight
With love in site
Then throws me in spite
Vicious his once gentle bite.
Tears flow down my cheeks
Unable to hold them when he speaks.
Don't wish for much
Just a little not a bunch.
I want to be treated with respect.
I never knew that'd be too much to expect.
Don't get pissed when I express
I do it cause you've caused this stress.
Please don't force this to the end
I love you not just that way but as the best of a friend.
