I went to river
and cried,
I didn’t know why.
Drops released from clouded eyes,
knees fell like water balloons,
arms gave way like cheap plastic.
Body stunned like a camera flash
flashing
flashing the past.
I fell in, all I could do was pray
as I slowly lost my mind,
and let the river take me away.
