I pledge my love undying and true
I give my heart to none but you
My one man army, a million strong
shall protect you, my dear,
no matter how long.

Forever my heart has been under attack
I see you and another and turn my back,
soon I shall commence my campaign
outcome uncertain, most likely in vain,

Lub dub, lub dub, I march to the beat
I march into death, my final defeat,
but hope remains, however so small
that in her mind, no contest at all,

To ally my force is my goal
my broken heart to be made whole
for when this is so I will be as new
