Little Joey

The sky is dark,
The parents are gone,
Thunder trembles,
And lightening strikes the ground
The rain begins to fall.

Soaring down from above,
It liquefies and tumbles down.
It falls towards the earth
Faster and faster it falls
Faster and faster, splash
It hit the ground.

Young little Joey sits safe at home,
Curled up tight
His parents would be out late.
Terrified of what dwelled outside his bedroom window,
Little Joey shivered and hid beneath the covers.

Left alone that night,
Little Joey peeks out into the dark
He sees a stream of light,
Coming from under his bedroom door
Crawling out of bed
Little Joey goes to see,
Just what the light could be.

Opening the door and rubbing his eyes, Little Joey sees
He should have just staid under the covers
Where his parents told him to be.

Faster and faster
Little Joey fell
Faster and faster
Little Joey hit the ground.

Poets Note..well I havent wrote anything for a while, and well I wrote this
