I needed inspiration to cure my frustration
You said all I needed was the dedication
But my mind wouldn’t bend to form a creation
I could no longer write my thoughts in formation
My mind had reached its limitation
And it left me to find my own salvation

Then I met you

I was looking for a conversation
And you were sitting in isolation
I approached you and we exchanged information
As we spoke I felt a sensation
Your words and thoughts became my motivation
My thoughts of you brought a revelation

Then I began to write

Ideas of you colored my illustration
Words flowed to form an explanation
You became my one fascination
Now I write without hesitation
Writing for you became my vocation

Happiness has sunken beneath my pores and into my heart
I thank you for returning my inspiration
My Friend
My Love
My Muse
