What would you say
If I looked in your eyes
And found the distance
Of a love forgone?

Would you smile?
Would you stare?
Would you stand vigilant
To my prolonged fear

As my tear show falling
Steams down my cheek
Would you reach out and touch me?
Tell me it's ok?

something tells me
That my thoughts are all wrong
That you would laugh at my weakness
Digusted in awe.

What would you say?
If I begged you to stay
Got down on my knees
And stared down at your feet?

Would you feel power
Control...
That feeling of god
Maybe not

But something tells me
And maybe I'm right
That one look at me
And I'll be cast from your sight

Yes I am hurting
I know now what I do
This feeling is fleeting
Tell me what to do

What would you say
If I asked you to see
A stranger before
When that stranger was me.
