Today I awoke to still muscles.
Soar from a nights delights.
Her warm body, almost lifeless
I can still taste her on my lips.
The sun stings my eyes,
Like a stare into the sky
And the rays reflect so gently
the glow from my window.
The scolding hot water
falls gracefully with force.
Eyes closed, I can feel the
Warm liquid fall to every
nice and seem.
With a stop, a turn, it ends.
The towel my only relief.
The course fabric soaks and cleans.
But still the cold air bites
at my toes.
A shiver runs up my spine.
And as I look in the clouded
mirror, I see a red, heated face.
My hair still soaked and dripping
and the bags under my eyes
show, that today
Is going to be another long day.
