Creeps, geeks and drama freaks
these are the chronicles of reality
turn up the stereo and set yourself free
because
this
is
too
much.

we try
oh how we try
as our "best years" fly by
persistent attempts at perfection
looking for love and affection
still,
we sit
alone.

Iced out
dressed down
casual thoughts in crazy town
strained smiles
worn frowns
nobody gets it

eclectic sighs
gathered eyes
come and stare
were all watched
but were not aware
of
it
all

so, puzzled and lost
we search for ourselves
taking instant gratification
at any cost
holding on
letting go
a big black void
we never know
