Leaving

I listened to your words,
Your stupid, repeated words,
I’ll tell you from my point,
Strangely, I thought of figures.
Actually, crows.
And dirty, mangled shadows.
Shadows of pain, and cruelty.
And then reality hit me,
I heard your continued words.
“I’ll pack my bags and leave,”
And never come back.
I can complete them for you,
Now I can.
Yes, I may believe that.
Because now, I feel the same.

What is bound to happen, now?
Give me your answer.
Your given complaints still continue,
And my mind is still transferred.
I loathe the sound of your voice, now.
Like nails on a chalkboard.
I hate the look of your face, now.
Like a horrible nightmare.

I think I’m going to leave,
I hope you do not mind.
Not that it would matter much,
So, anyway, goodbye.
