Shattered Pride

She’s forever shattered,
Like broken glass, never to be repaired.
She is cold now, a long stream of shivers,
Something that is never to be shared,
And bumps that appear on her surface,
Just because she’s forgotten, and lost.

Until she’s done, and she’s passed on,
She will remain the one ‘undone.’
Though she says she’s finished, entirely complete.

She’s a fake, she knows. But she must stay strong,
For her and her pride,
No matter if it shows, she cannot lose,
Not her pride.
