I know what you’re thinking
When you look into my eyes
If I killed myself tomorrow
To you, it would be no surprise.

You think you know everything about me
You think you know me very well
You think you know word for word
The story that I tell.

But there’s one thing I’ve never told you
One thing there’s no way you could know
I don’t like the way I am right now
Even though it doesn’t show.

I would do anything to change
To bring back the me that I once knew
But it’s so much harder than it sounds
And I don’t know what to do.

I’m falling further into this life
That’s based on a million lies
I need your help to make sure
The real me doesn’t die.

I can’t come back on my own
