I remember those days,
Hearing those songs
The lullabys, they were sung to him.
I remember the dark cold corner,
The place I called home.

And I wish someone were there to take me away,
Take me into their beautiful song.

Those helpless nights,
When I was all alone,
Hearing his cries,
Mother rushing to help.
And everytime I was broken,
You were never there to fix me.

Those words never meant anything,
There was no connection,
No, they didn’t mean a single thing

And I wish someone were there to take me away,
Take me into their beautiful song.

At times I wish,
I was the cute little girl,
The one everyone loved,
The one everyone gave a warm smile to.

Yet however long I dream,
Those lullabys, those songs,
They were never sung for me.
