I do

Awakened by a kiss
And your beautiful smile
To lie and stare at you
Just for a little while

Carried in your arms
My head burys in your chest
I'm still half asleep
For the deep lack of rest

The sun's slowly rising
From over the waters
I look at you and can tell
You're thinking, "I love her"

The steps you take are more subtle
As you carry me across the sand
Until we find the perfect spot
Where you finally rest from your stand

Not another soul is found
On that warm and breezy beach
Not a trace of humanity remains
As if we're in no one's reach

My eyes rest for only a second
As so it seems to me
But when they open again
You're nowhere to be seen.

Curiosity brings me to my feet
As I look around in confusion
But sure enough, your right behind me
Yet you're not in my direct vision

You hold me close so I can hear
Your heart against mine
Your shadow begins to fade
As the sun begins to shine

Filled with holding hands
The day carries on
Never parting from each other
Since the break of dawn

Life couldn't be any better
Better than being with you
But then you suprise me
Like you always do

You look at me
And my eyes fill with tears
Knowing that you'll be there
All of my life long years

You look at me
I look at you
Just before I say the words,
"I do"
