The first thing she saw was,
the ocean blue eyes, the crooked smile and the dimples on his cheeks.
it was her love, her life, her passion.
She woke up to that every morning,
She would always smile back and whisper i love you in his ear.
she would look deep into his eyes and know what he was thinking.
but today is diferent today is not the same.
She looks down at him as the tears fall from her eyes.
She no longer saw those ocean blue eyes or even the dimpled smile all she
saw was the casket lid closing for the last time.
she stopped the lid for a moment and leaned in for one more smile, one more
whisper of i love you, and one more kiss on his cold blue lips.
As she lifts her head and knows this is the ends she whispers one last
phrase into the wind..
i'll be there soon my love. just to see one more smile and have one
more kiss.

*this is the first poem i've ever showed people...they may not be any
good but please post some coments..*
