This is the tale...
Of a million tragedies
Who drove a man insane,
And forced him to his knees.
He couldn't stand his life,
Although he feared no Death,
And in his spoken words,
Came out a lie with every breath.
He was a tough and hardened soldier,
In a forsaken game of war,
But at heart he was a man;
A man who felt no more.
Life just wouldn't stop;
It wouldn't leave him be,
It threw him on the battlefield,
So everyone may see.
It forced tormented thoughts,
Through his weary head,
And these were just the thoughts,
That tore his soul and found him dead.
Society will pervert,
Everything you do,
And If you just can't take this world,
You'll end up like this too.
We must break this deadly cycle;
This long and twisted chain,
What will never bring us happiness,
Will always bring us pain.
