I Miss You

I long to feel the warmth that you radiate
Or to feel your lips touching mine
I miss holding you in my arms
I wish that all were fine

I would walk the deserts in search of you
I would swim the deepest sea
I would do most anything
If only you’d love me

I would pay a King’s ransom
To obtain the key to your heart
I would do what’s asked of me
In hopes that we would not part

I would give to you a kingdom
A palace for you and I
I would make for you a fortress
With walls that touch the sky

A secure haven would be yours
If only you would try
And I would be what you needed
If you’d chance just you and I
