So Slash Another

This shattered image
Picture framed
Knock it down while your head is down in shame
Leave the corridors of your room
Walk a path to another unvisited tomb
Irony slowly lingers behind
Every shadow
Consuming our light
Tombstones are our only bliss
Take away those we shall never miss
Carve your name into the ground
Lie there motionless while you hear a ringing sound
Be another of the unnamed
Be the one
You will be forgotten as If it was all just a game
Only stories we fill our souls
Rumors about all we have hold
Bloody carnations upon your grave
Tears fall freely day by day
Touch the picture
Try to look in to those eyes
The ones of your lover
Someone you will always miss
Never forget there breathtaking kiss
How was he able to give it all away?
Was willing to die?
Gave themselves for you just to let you live another day
So slash another
Leave mark leaving spaces on your wrist
Hold the hand of someone who used to give you eternal bliss
I guess I’m a coward
Took the easy way out but death is in love with us
They will never let us live this down
So I’ll take my chances to be there with you
Meet you on the other side while I pass out in this mausoleum room
