It’s hard to start writing on a blank page.
It’s so intimidating.
But writing down the poetry.
It’s relieving.
It’s even sometimes daunting.
I try to avoid the blank page.
As it stares back at me.
But sometimes it’s the only thing that will listen.
Sometimes the only thing that will not leave.
Will stay.
Blank page.
My friend.
You are.
Please stay.
Don’t respond.
Don’t say.
Please stay.
Then I’m not alone.
Again.
