Oh, My Darling

On this spring day, I ride alone,
For just one more time,
With the windows down, and the music loud.
The sun over-head I look around, and grip the wheel.
Ahead is my death, my eternity.

You can’t say I didn’t give it a try,
You can’t say that I didn’t say a word
Oh, my darling. I tried all of my days.

-It was a day, when the trees were bare
And the white snow covered all the ground.
Outside, the sun was setting.
Inside, a battle was rising.
Two lovers broke each others hearts,
A wound that wouldn’t heal.-

Flying ahead my hands tremble.
I turn my head to the side, no one is there.
Turning the corner
I see my leave.
Pushing down harder I leave the ground.
I gain flight, up, up into the sky.

You can’t say I didn’t give it a try,
You can’t say that I didn’t say a word
Oh, my darling. I tried all of my days.

On that spring day, I rode all alone.
For that last time,
With my windows down, and the music loud.
With the sun over-head, I had gripped the wheel
I pushed down with my foot
And took my last flight, down, down.
I crashed, right into the ground.

Poetsnote..Well, this I guess is my true come back. I really do not know
what I feel about this one, its kinda dark. Oh well, enjoy.
