Broken Time

The perception of time had been broken by a man that was sublime,
Yet he went under and thought of himself to be nothing but just a
Rhythm of time, just a show like a mime, but now
Time brought him to an end, where he is nothing more
Not even a trend

He lived in a place where time was very slow
His life was so mellow so silent, and it was never hollow
Until time came, the time he had to follow
His job was a mess, his children were late, his wife was on drugs,
but he was just waiting to procrastinate

If he would feel the future he would seem to feel nothing,
But if he felt the past he would feel more than something
You see ladies and gentlemen he had a great childhood
But time was still there whether he did or didn’t care
He wanted to end his never ending life
He wanted to end his never ending strife
But no matter if he was dead or alive time would always survive.

Yet time was there to keep him on track
Time would keep him from becoming a slack.
Now he ponders, whether time could bear his last wonders
But can time shift a mans mind if the man doesn’t want to see the future,
but feel the past, move backwards and rewind really fast

The only thing now is to sit and listen to the sound
Of the broken time that fell into one mans mind
The broken time is what the man heard when he took his last breath
And said goodbye, for time will still survive, now that that man is dead and
no longer alive.
