When I thought
I had you forever
We were'nt even together
the whole time
But I knew that you knew
I was yours and you were mine
Felt so much better off
Just being with you, near you,
even thinking of you
I had finally got enough
You picked me up
When I was down
I was so understood
And blissful and I knew
we could be like that

That summer
But the wind blew cold
Our troubles grew bold
And soon enough
The summer was over
And then you broke my heart
So from then on
It all fell apart
