Lipstick Smear

Hint:from a guys point of view

Her death inflicted kiss is indicated on my right cheek.
It may only seem like smeared lipstick, but to me,
It is much more than that.
Her lips so luscious placed closely to my flesh of a cheek.
Her hot pink lipstick seems to tattoo my flourished face.
I loved her and she loved me… but an aggregation of lies keeps this far from
mind.
Her soul is twisted, as is her heart…
This adds up to late nights of sleeping in a bed only occupied by myself.
The question in mind is what, over countless nights has she been doing.
But I love her to much to ask.
So merely, you see, this mark is a symbol, a reminder, of what it was like
once long ago.
That is why I keep this mark smeared on my cheek for long lasting memory.
