God's Hurricane

In the sea of life a storm was born
Power and fury was her name
With gusts of wind she screamed out
Destroyed my empty paradise
Like others before me I wept
My world had changed
This great force of nature had taken over my life
Destroyed all that I knew
Easy times were gone
With wind pounding and thrashing me
Destroying the boy in me and forcing out the man
I succumbed to the storm
Suddenly there was the eye
This great feeling of peace came over me
And I knew God gave me a hurricane
Violent beauty, It was heaven
I found heaven…
Calm eye of the storm
Inches away from violent fury
Awestruck by the beauty of her crystal blue eyes
Physically exhausted, I am tired now
As I rest the storm hits me with all of her fury
With all my strength
I fight to return to the peace and tranquility
that is the eye of the storm.
To my heaven, my new paradise I push
I trudge through baring the brut force that is my hurricane
I make it to the eye now and again
But soon I tire, and rest only to meet the storm again
How will I make it?
So alive and half dead from the lack of rest
I live each day in fear of the storm that I love
I pray that she will not strike at me
Not another bout of wind and fury
My life is the storms

For that storm in my life that I love, Magdita
There is more eye than hell and fury, remember that
