He’s all you ever think about,
He’s all you really care for
But it’s like he doesn't’t care.
It’s like I’m a nothing.
I wish things would change,
Make him tell me his feelings.
He says he likes me,
Yet I know it’s not the truth
. . .
All guys lie
All guys cheat,
You can’t trust the ones you love,
Because of that one guy you met.
. . .
He makes you think twice before you date another guy.
Like there’s no way to believe them.
No way to trust them.
No way to keep them.
. . .
They all look at you like your nothing,
Like you shouldn't't’t be around.
They say things that shouldn’t be said.
They tell you they love you,
And you believe it’s all true.
. . .
You got hurt once,
But that’s all you needed.
You think twice before believing anyone again,
Knowing it could all change.
. . .
Hearing the words “I won’t hurt you again”
Knowing he did, and also knowing YOU let him.
You think. . . Can you really be that stupid, can you really be that slow?
. . .
In the back of your head,
You want all the trust back,
But I know it will take time before it all comes,
For now or until I find someone that will earn it back. . . .
Someone who won’t lie or cheat. .
I hope that “someday” is soon.
