I sit here and I see
As the world puts on a show for me.
I open up the great machine;
A universe for gears,
A boundless sky for a screen,
Where the workings alone
Are too vast to conceive.
Past foreign mountains,
Over unknown seas,
Beyond our eight neighbors
To a place where atoms are galaxies.
Beyond comprehension of humanity,
Where doth reign that great belief,
The heart and soul of everything.

But greater parts do exceed
The width and breadth of infinity,
Where countless millennia only seem
A single breath in the scheme of things.
A place so great,
'tis what God Himself does believe.
I see this as I sit here,
Staring in perfect peace
Into a vast blue ocean,
And through a deep, sparkling sea.
In your eyes I find the secrets of creation,
And it makes me wonder, as you look back in mine
What in my eyes can possibly be
So great that you are drawn to me?
