Sweet Betrayal

Scream for me,
Call my name,
Beg for me
To spare your life.

As I relish in your blood,
Bathing in the sweet substance,
As if flows heavily from your body.

You start to pale,
Your life force almost gone,
And you start to think.

Was I not the one that you'd
Risked your life for just weeks ago?
How could I be doing such a
Cruel thing, killing you?

How do I take pleasure
In knowing I've taken a friend's life?
How can I find enjoyment?
You use your last moments to wonder.

"This is my sweet betrayal,"
I whisper into your ear,
Sending shivers down your spine.

You fade away,
The last drop of your blood
Dripping onto the stained pavement,
Only to be washed away by the rain
When it falls from the deep, blue sky.
