Long Distance Love

There are so many days
I think about you,
And so many days
I email my love to you too.
All the time,
I feel there's a piece of me missing,
I think of that one night
when we were kissing.

Being away from you
hurts me a lot,
I get so sad
that I really turn hot.
Although we are distant from one another,
We will be with each other forever.
You are my man,
and I am your girl,
You will always be my whole world.

In a letter,
you said I was your lover.
I am so lucky like a four leaf clover.
Where would I be if we haven't found each other?
Out there in the world waiting for my perfect lover.

You, my love, is my perfect man,
One whom I could never abandon.
I want to spend the rest of my life with you,
And I know you want the same thing too.

You told me that you never lose,
But one day I will win against you.
No matter if we argue or play a game,
I will prove it one of these days.

No matter how far we are from each other,
Nothing can tear us apart from one another.
You mean everything in the world to me,
This long distance love is quite amusing.

*This poem is dedicated to my boyfriend Marcus Hamilton. We actually are in
a long distance relationship.*
