I Find Myself

I've spent a long time being lost
And now its time to be
I find myself
In the worst of you,
and in the best of me.
Didn't know who I was
Don't know who I became
But I found myself somewhere
No longer lost in blinding rain
Brought up in a cult
Didn't know where to turn
As I find myself
Everyday I learn
Self Discovery
Is a diamond lost in space
The tough part is trying
to leave yourself a trace
I set my own goals
and achieve them all
I only learn from my mistakes
Even if I trip and fall.
I find myself
Lost at times
But then I always seem to find
A new me comes everyday
Out of my very own mind
In a painting unlike any other
That I worked on for days
I seem to find myself
In the oddest of the ways
A brand new beat
That discribes me at my best
It is original, unlike the rest
And I dance to it,
As the mirror stares at me
But I don't care because
I can feel so very free
I find myself
And sometimes I am scared
I always rely on me
To be the one who always cared
I know myself,
Unlike you know me,
So go try to find yourself
It is worth so much,
Yet the cost is free.
