From the the South you risen
With all your grace
Tanned body, Strapping strength
Huge palms, Louisianan taste
Swift movements, juicy self
Ih Southern Lover
How I wish to taste
Your nectar that
Makes every girl melt
How I wish to soothe over your
Bronzed stature that
Stands tall with vigor
Oh how I wish your hands
Those mighty, mighty hands
Grab me and lift to the sky
And feel the winds
Blow to a tune
How I wish
You take to dance
To the sweltering weather
Where we create
Our own rhythms
With our bodies
Oh Southern Lover
You put the SOUTH
In ME.
