twisted sunshine

Many hearts did cry
the night we learned we had to say goodbye
but I see it in your eyes
the little bit of suicide
that you left behind
your love was tainted
my eyes were jaded
but in the sea of darkness
you’re still my twisted sunshine

I can hear the sound of you breathing
it wont stop resonating
the song I sing for you
the pain you left for me
the love I felt for you
and the hate u felt for me
but in the room full of darkness
you’re still my twisted sunshine

this is frustration
this is desperation
who decides what I should or should not say
do what u do and run away
so here another one
on my list of broken dreams
you were my only one
but loves isn't’t what it seams
but in the darkness
you’re still my twisted sunshine
