Her heart is filled with saddness
she cries herself to sleep
she smiles to hide the continuous tears
the pain has deepened over the years

People are mean
people are careless
people say things about her
they say that no one loves her

She hates herself
and everything about her
she cant get rid of the piercing pain
from her body, tears and blood rain

she hides her scars
so no one knows
repressing all the pain inside
she's contemplating suicide

she wants to die
she has to bleed
she needs to be out of her misery
even though she loves her family

Her friends dont care
neither does she
she writes the note, she will do it tonight
when she is gone, no one will notice right

She's wrong
they do care
but it's too late
she has already sealed her fate

She opens the window
and climbs to the ledge
its a long way down to the concrete street below
she closes her eyes and lets go

She is falling
she has never felt so free
she feels as if she can fly
she opens her eyes
to gaze up at the shrinking sky

She hits the ground
her world goes black
she received her wish for death
she felt relieved as she took her last breath

she has finally escaped
but others are filled with saddness
they remember how they treated her
they are filled with grief and anger

People regret what they said
she only needed love
for someone to care
but she is no longer there
