Icarus

Icarus never fell
he simply slipped
out of his clumsy wings

And the sun didn't burn him
it was brilliant but cool,
and he held it in his hand

Icarus put the sun down
after a few moments of play
but set it a bit too far too the left,

He turned then toward night
and gathered stardust for his father
scattering it across proportion
