A Secret in the Wind

My broken heart is still reeling from
Your lies of him; you were the one.

By my ears I hear the wind
Rocking through the trees.
Only a sound with unspoken secrets
Kept hidden from you and me.
Every rustle is much like my mind
Neatly hiding emotions for none to find.

Here in my mind they reign supreme;
Every jealous moment and horrible dream.
All remind me of a love once lost,
Rough memories that often make it seem
That love was not worth the cost.
