Manhood is the confusion, pain, sorrow and strife
That comes with this weary life
It is hiding your fears
While holding back tears
Manhood is bread on the table
House, home, TV, Cable
It is providing, feeding
Loving and breading
Manhood is taking care of woman and child
A wild life transformed to mild
It is waiting for your child to speak
Every time she falls your knees getting weak
Manhood is innocence lost
Succeeding at any cost
It is life’s maturation
And youth’s devastation
Manhood is adolescence in the rearview mirror
The end getting nearer and nearer
It is white hair and loose skin
Waiting for life to end
