Hairy cookie

I see the plastic container in the cupboard
It is drawing me nearer
I open the door a little more
So I can see it a little clearer

Inside are sweet treats
That I’d love to indulge upon
A guilty little pleasure
Maybe I’ll just eat one

I open up the box
And take a look inside
Mmm, they smell delicious
The defenseless chocolate chip cookies try to hide

I grab one that’s full of chocolate
Melting from my touch
Drooling from the mouth, I eat it up
One more couldn’t hurt much

I take out another
It looks equally yummy
I see its future
It’s inside my tummy

I take the first bite
But something that isn’t supposed to be, is there
Inside my ChipsAhoy! chocolate chip cookie
Is a long baked-in hair!!
