Cemetery of Thoughts

I am from the cemetery of thoughts
I spend a majority of my time here
Going over past moments,
Flashbacks and dejavu
From Valparaiso to Elkhart
Friends to family
The weeping willow
And the crab apple
Amanda and Lacey
The moving
Several new homes
Splashing and cannonballs
I come from the sunburns
Occurring at Lake Michigan
Where there were
True "sand"-wiches
Divorces to death
Dad and Great Grandpa
Once a year Indiana Beach
Garage sale where I'd beg for everything
As I wander these graves
I realize that my name is on every stone
Along with a memory engraved
I am overwhelmed with peace
I have found my place
My cemetery of thoughts.
