You say it like it's a bad thing.
A lot of them love to sing.
You'll find them jumping into lakes by ropes.
They don't like to have high hopes.
Living life without a care,
They'll take on every single dare.
I catch them running around barefoot.
It's hard for the kids to stay put,
they're always on the go.
Their passion is the banjo,
they play it with their hillbilly bands.
Pulling and yanking at the strands.
Being crazy is their game,
hillbilly is their name.
They really are cool.
Not owning a single rule,
drinking at any age,
never having any rage.
You truely ought to get to know one.
They'll make sure you have tons of fun.
You know they are really silly,
they're you everyday hillbilly!
