sanctuary

there once was a place
where i would go
to become one with myself
to make me glow
the calm brushing of the water
on the rivers bed
and the crackle of the arms
of the great standing oak
this is my sanctuary
where no one else can go
the serenity and modesty
of the natures flow
here i will wait
until the day is broken
then i will return tomorrow
to my perfect sanctuary

*n.b. my poems do not have punctuation or capitilization because it is not
needed, they can be implied how they want. i am not just bein lazy, i know
how to do these things*
