Dancing Partner to the Sun

You float on the breeze
You dance with the sun
And you allowed me to join in
On your glorious fun

Because I had never seen
A man just like you
You stayed on my mind
My curiosity grew

I could feel you behind me
See you in chattered glass
So I met you in the forest
I followed you down the path

Each new flower we saw
Was as beautiful as the last
You loved each differently
Even the weeds that we past

Oh, the way you moved
The way your feet did strive
The way you looked at me
It made me feel alive

Keeping a smile and staring
No one had done that before
The way you fed my hunger
Yet I still wished for more

The way you were gentle
How you helped me to the ground
The way I felt delicate
With the love that I found

Your tongue tied with mine
Sliding to my throat
I got shivers down my spine
So you gave me your coat

You had it all wrong
Thinking that I was cold
You were so kind that day
You proved your heart of gold

Your scent was all around
I ran my fingers through you hair
We were in paradise
It was my first time there

Your dance partner was the sun
I hope now I can step in
For with the sun's approval
Our dance, it will begin
