The Swan of the Lake

The swan of the lake dives deep,
then flows triumphantly on the surface,
proud of her elasticity, like a princess
strolls among water lilies.
the haze makes it look like a painting
of pastel,fascinating,but so alone.
I keep searching in,that lake for one more
creature,my eyes could not catch another scene,
but of one white shadow.
Later i heard,that a swan declared a war on
her own kind, smothered the young, sent the old
away.
Her greed to own the whole lake was bigger, than
reality,everyone has gone away.
There was a lake, and one swan bathing in joy
all alone.
Until years passed, and life was crawling,
i thought i would give a look at the old lake,
shockingly i saw muddy green waters, covered by
a woven of weeds,in silence gazed a shadow of
a creature,i looked closer to recognise that old
beast.
Looking as lifeless as a ghost,so pale, ashamed of looking around, timidly
trying to catch a glimpse of
another living species.
Her power crushed down, after a decade of solitude
the mind lost sanity, thus the white princess lost
her charm,to fall into sheer regret.
