There’s a fight going on over in Iraq
That’s got our soldiers not coming back
Fighting a war that they don’t know why
Just because the man in the suit said it’s alright

A war of pride to finish what his daddy was denied
A war based on lies? That’s for you to decide
I served in Iraq I did my time
I did what I was asked
I’ve have the right to speak my mind

I’m a patriotic man as red white and blue as they come
But why is there more death with the war being done
They died for their country, what kind of line is that?
These soldiers are Americans not from Iraq

We do what were told because we think its right
We ask no questions, we send more to fight
To replace the bodies coming back
Blindly sending more to Iraq

The war is over it’s got to stop
Before more come home in a box
Flag draped coffins of patriots they are
Patriots defending a country afar

I thought this fight was about Bin Laden
Too soon he was forgotten, for a man named Sadaam
Weapons of Mass Destruction they cried
Soon that turned out to be a lie

Its time for Americans to stand up
Before more of our soldiers die
Stand up against the man in the suit
For what is right…….
