my poem to you

In your heart is a portal
In which I have seemed to tumble into
And through this gateway to a better tomorrow
Is your soul
And in it I seem to find myself lost beyond lost
Though being lost I find that it is not the worst of things
But in your eyes lost is the only thing I could ever ask for
In this wonderful tomorrow that I cant seem to stop thinking about
You in fact are the reason the world spins in such a beautiful way
Bring the days and nights to their beginning and ends
With such a beautiful collage of art work
Even the artist we praise today would envy
And your smile is everything
That brings me to this world
Into a reality that was hiding just behind the curtain
That you thankfully pulled from my eyes
Pulling those blankets that I hid under
From everything that would never get me
And showed me what life really is and for that i am thankful
But unfortunately I cannot thank you enough
Nor even thank you at all
For in the beauty of you, your eyes, and your soul
I am left completely speechless
Breathless as if each breath
I was about to take was for the only person who had taken it away
