The Rapture

It's too late to start over
The words you said to the religious boy
The lies you told the loser
A line between joke and seriousness
It was crossed, no turning back

"It was Lucipher", you cried
Only to lay down that night
With the bible in your hands
Telling me things that Jesus wouldn't understand
You've been torn apart
A day I never thought I'd see

You're a demon, accept it
Many will turn to it
People turn to dust
People that used to look at us
Passing in the street
Now there's blood up to my feet

The sky is blood red, the sun has exploded
The moon has fallen from it's hanger
The earth's placement has began to rust
No one senses lust, nothing left to
Who's hand will you touch
This is it, the rapture is upon us
