Like ships in the night
I cannot see
What’s in store
For you and me
Whether we’ll love to live
And hate to die
Will we see each other,
Eye to eye?
Will we love passionately?
And embrace lovingly?
Will we give forgiveness
With ease or begrudgingly?
Will we look to each other
With passion and flames
Or will we lie and deceive
As we play out the game?
Like ships in the night
We cannot see
Each other, our paths
It’s frightening me…
