I can hear the wind whisper into my ear
There is only one thing I yearn for
But it is also the one thing I fear

I see you lying next to me
And my mind plays over my fantasies
But I can’t make them a reality
I have to shield my jealousy

I fear making the first move
I fear losing you as one of my good friends
But where does the passion begin?
And when does this friendship end?

I just want you to give me a sign
As we lay so close, yet so far away
If I go through with my desires
Will our past be forgotten in just one day?

And as I hear you breathing heavily
I cannot shield my desire to touch your lips
To make you fall in love with me
To feel your hands upon my hips

But my mind is so confused
We have so much to lose
Friendship or love?
