Dying

A little voice crying
The life around her is dying
She sits all alone in her room
Grabbing the knife, slicing, then awaiting her doom
Her wrist is always bleeding
For her daddy not to beat her was all she is needing
She figures it would be easier to die this way
She gets on her knees and starts to pray
"Dear god, what did I do to deserve this?
I thought I was the child everyone would miss
Instead no one takes a glance at me
I am the child no one wants to be"
When she was done tears were rolling down her cheek
In her afterlife, nice parents she would seek
She takes the knife and cuts in once more
This time the vein she has tore
No one even noticed she was dead
Until that morning when she was bleeding in her bed
