So life is a burden,
Without words, without meaning,
Do you see the truth?
How can you,
Your words defeating,
Love is a pain,
Love is a struggle,
It’s none of the above,
It’s a sweet emotion.
All you hear is how you’ve been spited,
Your love isn’t just,
Your life isn’t fair,
Look around,
You built those walls,
And God forbid,
The “sanctuary” you have,
Should come down,
And you face life.
Well then face it,
And write about it,
But spare us your drama,
Your petty words,
Your ridiculous accusations,
Your abstract garbage.
Do it for the love,
Do it for the therapy,
Don’t do it to share your pain,
Don’t thrust it on us,
Because life doesn’t care,
Because life’s too busy,
Caring about the people who embrace it,
Not shun it.
