We are all moving forward
Things are really changing fast
You better hold on tight
Or you will lose grip of your past

You are being called to move on
Life is grabbing you by the wrist
Just think about your future
Don’t pay attention to the opportunities you’ve missed

While one memory blooms
Another is shattered to shards
Life will deal you awkward changes
You just have to play the cards

Don’t move on with negative thoughts
Just remember the moments, so sublime
Don’t chase after your past
You have to deal with time

And although you may want to stay
Where all of your memories are residing
There comes a time where you have to let go,
Where you just have to stop hiding

So take a whiff of fresh air
And realize that moving on isn’t so bad
Forget about the things you are leaving behind
Forget about the things you’ve had

Just transfer with an open mind
And don’t remember the factors that have drifted away
Don’t start living in the past
