Believing Lies

Words just wanted to explode from my mouth,
as I sat there idle.
Listening to your lies,
and thinking to myself,
this can't be true.
But of course,
I trusted your lies.
My words waited for their chance to fly out,
like a swarm of crazed bees.
To tell you that I found my way
through your labyrinth of lies,
and I knew your intentions.
But when my time came to talk,
I nodded politely, and apologized.
Just like I had done every fight before.
EVERY FIGHT.
And even with that,
I felt in the wrong.
I made myself believe your lies yet again.
