Confidence of My Broken Soul

Another broken promise,
another empty day,
another night with out you,
I can’t go on this way.

You once said that you loved me,
but we all knew it couldn't last.
Am I the reason for your future,
or just an object of your past?

Staring out the window,
trying to read your empty mind;
for a purpose or an answer,
that I just can't seem to find.

Leave me waiting in my daydreams,
leave me wandering my soul,
searching for the answers,
to the questions that I hold.

I'm sick of being walked all over,
It's more than just one girl can take,
you're not my happy ever after,
but just one more blank mistake.

So take my heart and my purity,
pack your pride up and go,
because I'm sick of the heart break,
and I'm finally letting it show.

You don’t know what you're losing,
you were never there to see,
all the love and the beauty,
locked up deep inside of me.

So I hope that you're happy,
when you're cold and alone,
the best thing that ever happened,
is packed up and gone.

I will always forgive you,
but I can never forget,
I'll make the day that you met me,
the one day you regret.
